Sébastien is an Associate Professor of Software Engineering at McMaster University. He is currently Associate Chair of the Computing and Software department, and Associate Director of McSCert, McMaster Centre for Software Certification. His research interests are related to software engineering, software composition, domain-specific languages and modelling at large. In addition, he applies his research to various domains such as machine learning pipelines, distributed systems, DevOps and safety.

Zhexuan (Jason) Lyu

Jason is currently an M.Eng. student in Computing and Software at McMaster University, supervised by Prof. Sébastien Mosser. He interned at Arctic Wolf (Summer & Fall 2024), EMQ Technologies (Summer 2023), and Microsoft Research Asia (2021–2022). He is also an Open-source Software Developer on GitHub with interests in various domains including but not limited to Golang/Python programming, cloud native, networking, and DevOps. His M.Eng. project focused on Kubernetes and justification models, where he developed new interests in safety and modeling.
